Reglement für den Verkauf des Priestertums der Aphrodite Pontia.

ἁ δὲ πρᾶξις ἔστω τᾶι ἱερείαι κατὰ τῶν μὴ ἐπιτελεσάντων τ[ὰ γεγραμμέ]–να καθάπερ ἐγ δίκας· ὅπως δὲ μηδεμία ἀντιλογία γίνηται ὁπ̣[οθενοῦν μη]–θε̣ν̣ὶ̣ ποτὶ μηδένα περὶ τᾶς ἀξίας τῶν ἱερείων, ἐξέστω τῶι θύ[οντι, αἴ]τίς κα δήληται, ὧν ὅσιόν ἐστιν θύεν τᾶι θεῶι καταβαλεῖν τῶν [γερῶν]τὸ διατεταγμένον· τοὶ στρατευόμενοι ἐν ταῖς μακραῖς ναυσὶν ἐ̣[πεί]κα καταλύωντι τὸν πλοῦν θυόντω τᾶι Ἀφροδίται τᾶι Ποντίαι ἐπὶ τ[οῦ]προγεγραμμένου βωμοῦ ἱερεῖον τέλειον ἀφ᾿ ἑκάστας σκανᾶς ἀπὸδραχμᾶν τριάκοντα ἢ καταβαλλόντω τῶν γερῶν καθ᾿ ἑκάσταν σκα–νὰν τᾶι ἱερείαι δραχμὰς δεκαπέντε καὶ ἐς τὸν θησαυρὸν δραχμάν·ἀπαρχέσθων δὲ καὶ τοὶ λοιποὶ πάντες τοὶ θύοντες ἐς τὸν θησαυρὸν τᾷἈφροδίται ἐπὶ μὲν βοῒ δραχμὰς δύο, ἐπὶ δὲ τοῖς ἄλλοις τῶν μὲν τε–λείων δραχμάν, τῶν δὲ ἀτελείων τριώβολ<ο>ν̣, ὄρν{ις}ιθος δὲ ὀβολόν,χωρὶ τῶν προδιατεταγμένων κατὰ τάνδε τὰν διαγραφάν· ἐξέσστ<ῶ>δὲ τᾷ ἱερείᾳ καὶ ἀπομίσθωσιν ποιήσασθαι τούτων· ὁ δὲ ἀπομισθω–σάμενος ἐχέτω τὰν ἐξουσ{ι}ίαν πράσσεσθαι [κ]αθὰ καὶ τὰν ἱέρειαν γέ–γραπται· τᾶν δὲ κλαικῶν τῶν θησαυρῶν κυριευόντω τοὶ προστάταικαὶ ἀνοιγόντω μετὰ τᾶς ἱερείας καθ᾿ ἕκαστον ἐνιαυτὸν ἐμ μηνὶ Δα–λίωι καὶ τὸ μὲν ἥμισσον ἔστω τᾶς ἱερείας, τὸ δὲ ἥμισσον ἀναπεμπόν–τω ἐπὶ τὰν δαμοσίαν τράπεζαν ἐς τὸν ὑφεστακότα τᾶς θεοῦ λόγονκ̣αὶ λόγον χρηματιζόντω ἐς τὰ δαμόσια γράμματα· τὸ δὲ χρῆμα τοῦ–το ὑπαρχέτω ἐς κατασκευάσματα ἅ κα δόξῃ τᾶι ἐκλησίαι, καὶ ἐς ἐπισ–κευὰν τοῦ ἱεροῦ· αἰ δέ κά τις ψαφίξηται ὥστε{ι} ἐς ἄλλο τι καταχρη[σ]θῆμεντὰ ἐκ τῶν θησαυρῶν ἢ προστάτας προθῆι, ἀποτισάτω τῶν α<ἰτί>ων ἕκασ–τος δραχμὰς χειλίας ἱερὰς τᾶς Ἀφροδίτας καὶ ἁ γνώμα ἄκυρος ἔστω.ἀπαρχέσθων δὲ καὶ τοὶ ἐλευθερούμενοι ἐν ὧι κα ἐνιαυτῷ ἐλευθερω–θῶντι σὺν τῶι πρότερον καταβαλλομένωι δραχμὰς πέντε ποιούμε–νοι τὰν καταβολὰν ἐπὶ τὸς ταμίας· διδόντω δὲ ἐς ἀπαρχὰν καὶ τοὶἁλιεῖς τοὶ ὁρμ<ώ>μενοι ἐκ τᾶς πόλιος καὶ τοὶ ναύκλαροι τοὶ πλέοντεςπερὶ τὰν χώραν καθ᾿ ἕκαστον πλοῖον τοῦ ἐνιαυτοῦ δραχμὰς πέντε· αἰδέ τίς κα μὴ ἐπιτελέσηι τι τῶν ἐν τᾶιδε τᾷ διαγραφᾶι γεγραμμένωνἢ μὴ θύσηι κατὰ τὰ ποτιτεταγμένα, ἀποτεισάτω τᾶι ἱερείαι τὰ ἐφ᾿ ἑκάσ–τοις γεγραμμένα ἐπιτίμια, ἁ δὲ πρᾶξις ἔστω αὐτᾶι καθάπερ ἐγ δίκας·κατὰ ταὐτὰ δὲ καὶ αἴ τινά κα ἁ ἱέρεια μὴ ποιῇ τῶν ποτιτεταγμένων αὐ–τᾶι κατὰ τὰν διαγραφάν, ἀποτεισάτω δραχμὰς χειλίας ἱερὰς Ἀφροδί–τας, φαινέτω δὲ ὁ χρῄζων κατὰ τὸν νόμον· ἐπὶ δὲ τᾶι πράσει τᾶς ἱερωσύ–νας θυσάντω τοὶ προστάται τᾶι Ἀφροδίται τᾶι Πανδάμωι δάμαλιν ἀ–πὸ δραχμᾶν ἑξακοσιᾶν· v τὸ δὲ γενόμενον ἀνάλωμα ἔς τε τὰν θυσί–αν καὶ τὰν ἀναγραφὰν τᾶς διαγραφᾶς τοὶ ταμίαι προτελεσάντω καὶ ἀπο–λογιξάσθων μετὰ τᾶς ἄλλας δαπάνας· ἁ δὲ πριαμένα τὰν ἱερωσύναν [ἱ]–ε̣ράσθω ἐπὶ βίου· καταβολὰς δὲ ποιησεῖται τρεῖς ἀργ̣υρίου, τὰμ μὲν πράταν ἐμ μη–νὶ Ἀλσείωι τῶι ἐπὶ μονάρχου Χαιρεδάμου, τὰν δὲ δευτέραν ἐμ μηνὶ Βατρο–[μ]ίωι τῶι μετὰ μόναρχον Χαιρέδαμον, τὰν δὲ τρίταν ἐμ μηνὶ Δαλίωι τῶι ἐ–[πὶ τ]οῦ αὐτοῦ μονάρχου· καὶ ἐπεὶ ὁ δᾶμος εὐσεβῶς διακείμενος κατεσκε̣[ύ]–[ακε ποτὶ] τῶι ἐπὶ θαλάσσαι ἱερῶι καὶ ἄλλα χ̣ρηστήρια, καρπευέσθω καὶ ταῦ[τα][ἁ ἱέρεια· τοὶ δ]ὲ̣ π̣ωληταὶ ἀπομισθωσάντω ἀναγράψαι τάνδε τὰν διαγραφὰ[ν][ἐς στάλαν λιθίναν κα]ὶ̣ ἀναθέμεν παρὰ τῶι βωμῶι τᾶς Ἀφροδίτας τᾶς Π[ον]–[τίας· ἀπομισθωσάντω δὲ καὶ] τ̣ελέσαι τὰν [ἱέρ]ειαν κατὰ τὰ νομιζόμενα [καὶ][τὰν διαγραφάν· τὸ δὲ γενόμενον ἀνάλω]μα ἔς τε τὰν ἀναγραφὰν τᾶς διαγραφᾶ̣[ς][καὶ τὰν στάλαν καὶ τὰν τελετὰν τᾶς ἱερείας καὶ τ]ὰν θυσίαν ἐπὶ τᾶι πράσε[ι][τᾶς ἱερωσύνας καταβαλεῖ ἁ πριαμένα τὰν ἱερωσύναν ἅμα τᾶι πράται καταβολᾶι].

die Eintreibung gegen diejenigen, die die Vorschriften nicht erfüllen, soll der Priesterin zustehenwie aufgrund eines Gerichtsurteils. Damit aber kein Streit entsteht, woraus auch immer,über den Wert der Opfertiere, ist es jedem Opfernden erlaubt, wenner will, von dem, was der Göttin zu opfern würdig ist, anstelle der Ehrengabendie festegelegte (Summe) zu zahlen. Die Soldaten auf den großen Kriegsschiffen, wennsie die Fahrt beenden, sollen der Aphrodite Pontia opfern auf demoben bezeichneten Altar ein ausgewachsenes Opfertier von dreißig DrachmenWert von jeder Zeltmannschaft oder anstelle der Ehrengaben pro Zeltmannschaftder Priesterin fünfzehn Drachmen zahlen und in den Opferstock eine Drachme.Als Spende sollen auch alle anderen, die opfern, der Aphrodite in den Opferstocklegen für ein Rind: zwei Drachmen, für die anderen Opfertiere: die ausgewachsen(eine) Drachme, die nicht ausgewachsenen drei Obolen, pro Vogel (eine) Obole,zusätzlich zu dem, was oben festgelegt wurde entsprechend diesem Reglement. Es seider Priesterin erlaubt, eine Verpachtung dieser (Einnahmen) vorzunehmen. Der Pächtersoll dieselbe Vollmacht zur Eintreibung haben, wie für die Priesterin vorgeschriebenist. Die Vorsteher sollen die Gewalt über die Schlüssel für die Opferstöcke habenund sie zusammen mit der Priesterin öffnen jährlich im Monat Da-lios, und die Hälfte (der Spenden) soll der Priesterin sein, die andere Hälfte sollen sieder öffentlichen Bank übersenden auf das vorhandene Konto der Göttinund die Rechnung in das öffentliche Archiv verfügen. Dieses Geldsoll bestimmt sein für Bauarbeiten, die die Volksversammlung beschließt, und fürdie Reparatur des Heiligtums. Wenn aber jemand zur Abstimmung bringt, das (Geld) aus denOpferstöcken anders zu verwenden, oder ein Vorsteher dies auf die Tagesordnung setzt, solljeder der Verantwortlichen tausend Drachmen an Aphrodite zahlen, und der Antrag sei ungültig.Spenden sollen auch die Freigelassenen in dem Jahr, in dem sie freigelassen werden,zusätzlich zu den bereits früher gezahlten (Gebühren) fünf Drachmen, wobei sie dieZahlung an die Schatzmeister machen. Als Spende sollen auch geben dieFischer, die aus der Stadt segeln, und die Schiffseigner, die umdas Land segeln, pro Schiff jährlich fünf Drachmen. Wenn aber jemandetwas von dem, was in diesem Reglement geschrieben ist, nicht ausführtoder nicht opfert gemäß den Festlegungen, soll er der Priesterin die fürjedes (Vergehen) vorgeschriebene Strafe zahlen, die Eintreibung aber stehe ihr zu wie aufgrund einesGerichtsurteils. Ebenso auch wenn die Priesterin etwas von dem ihr gemäß dieses ReglementsVorgeschriebenen nicht ausführt, soll sie als Strafe tausend Drachmen zahlen an Aphrodi-te, und jeder, der will, kann sie anzeigen gemäß dem Gesetz. Beim Verkauf des Priestertumssollen die Vorsteher der Aphrodite Pandamos opfern eine junge Kuhvon sechshundert Drachmen. Die angefallenen Kosten für das Opferund die Aufzeichnung des Reglements sollen zunächst die Schatzmeister bezahlen undabrechnen mit den anderen Ausgaben. Die Käuferin des Priestertums solllebenslang Priesterin sein. Sie soll den Kaufpreis abzahlen in drei Raten, die erste imMonat Alseios unter dem monarchos Chairedamos, die zweite im Monat Batromiosnach dem monarchos Chairedamos, die dritte im Monat Dalios unterdemselben monarchos. Und wenn das Volk in frommer Gesinnung errichtet haben wirdandere Nutzbauten bei dem Heiligtum am Meer, soll die Priesterin auch diese wirtschaftlichnutzen können. Die Poleten sollen verdingen, dass dieses Reglement aufgeschrieben wirdauf eine steinerne Stele und aufgestellt wird beim Altar der Aphrodite Pontia;sie sollen auch verdingen die Weihe der Priesterin gemäß den Gesetzen unddem Reglement. Die angefallenen Kosten für die Aufzeichnung des Reglementsund die Stele und die Weihe der Priesterin und das Opfer beim Verkaufdes Priestertums soll die Käuferin des Priestertums erlegen zusammen mit der ersten Rate.
